According to research conducted at the Josephson Institute of Ethics in California,
92 percent of teens surveyed admitted to lying to their parents at least once in the last year.
What’s the harm in a “little white lie”? Are you concerned your teen might be breaking rules, not honest about what they are doing or where they are going, unavailable, or not prepared to make good decisions for themselves? Or do you want assurance that you are on the right track? A lot is at stake when it comes to our teenagers. Attend our Parent/Teen Workshop: The Parent and The Teen— “Preparing Yourself for Independence.”
What can we expect for the weekend?
The weekend schedule allows for interactive exercises and discussions along with role reversal role plays. Each family will develop their own guiding principles for making sound decisions and also have the opportunity to address unresolved challenges that take place in the home.
Snacks will be provided throughout the weekend including a light lunch on Sunday. Saturday's lunch break will allow for families to spend some time together out to lunch at one of the many near-by restaraunts or you may choose to bring a sack lunch to eat at the beach.
